* * MARAFANYI TRIP TO GUINEA, WEST AFRICA '07 * *
Due to the unfortunate and unsafe political instability in Guinea
since January we had to post-pone our journey this year.
Please keep our friends across the big pond in your prayers, and stay tuned for

In our travels to Guinea we have seen first hand how difficult it is to survive in a 3rd World country.
6 months of rain = plenty mosquitoes = much malaria. No work = no pay = no medicine.
It's an unfortunate cycle in which we have lost several teachers and friends already. Thus, we are
inspired to assist these artists and compadres who are a big part of our lives, and have so
generously contributed to Marafanyi's artistic evolution
